Our Executive Director, Lekan Olawoye has taken a leave from FYI to take on the noble challenge of running for City Council in Toronto. We wish him the best of luck. Lekan has been a tireless champion for the community and young people and has been an advocate and ally for all. Under his leadership, FYI has grown its reach and developed financial systems to ensure accountability and transparency. Due to our financial and organizational systems, FYI has built great relationships with our funders, government, corporate partners and community members. We are proud of this work and thank Lekan for his leadership.

Lekan's leave will be from August 1st 2014- November 1st 2014. During this time, our Acting Executive Director will be Victor Beausoleil. Victor is currently our Director of programs and we look forward to having him in his new role. He comes with years of experience working in under-served communities across the city and has fit in well with FYI during his time here. We thank him for taking on this role and look forward to building on the work of our organization
